About Saeed Banaie, P.E.

Saeed Banaie is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than 40 years of experience in civil and structural engineering. He is the President of DSN Group Inc., a specialty civil and structural engineering and construction firm serving the Los Angeles area since 2008.

Experience

Saeed has led the planning, design, and construction management of a wide range of projects, including multi-unit residential, institutional, and commercial buildings. His work places a strong emphasis on the restoration and rehabilitation of unreinforced masonry and historic structures in high-seismic regions.

With extensive experience in Type V wood-frame structures as well as steel and concrete systems, Saeed brings deep technical expertise to both new construction and complex retrofit projects.

Earlier in his career, Saeed contributed to large-scale industrial and infrastructure engineering projects, including the design and modification of nuclear facilities and oil terminals. This background gives him a broad, multidisciplinary perspective that informs his current work.
